The theme of the video is the transformation under way in Bagnoli on the western periphery of Naples: a vast industrial area in disuse ( the former Italsider, Eternit and Cementir) which the new urban development plan intends to use for tourist structures and metropolitan services.
The video was meant as an instrument of introduction and stimulus for technical, political and social debate, but, also as a means for informing and connecting the different associations which operate nationally with regards to the theme of urban rights and participation in urban transformation .
Through the use of interviews, the video addresses the problem of the re-conversion of the area and whether or not there is agreement on the part of the inhabitants with the eventual changes.
